Liugong Island National Forest Park covers an area of over 4000 mu. There are 19 families and over 80 sorts of trees (mainly black pine trees), over 50 sorts of wild flowers and plants, over 50 sorts of birds and dozens of species of wild animals such as sika deer. It is also the new home to the national treasure giant panda, elk, Taiwan sika deer and serow.
