An Overview of Liugong Island Scenic Spot
Liugong Island covers an area of 3.15 square kilometers and has a forest coverage rate of 87%. It is the first national level marine forest park. The island has a long history and culture. It is the birthplace of the Beiyang Navy and has 17 national key cultural relics protection units. Currently, the main attractions open to the public on the island include the Naval Hall, the Museum of the Sino-Japanese War, the Liugong Island Expo Park, the Tingyuen Memorial Battleship, etc.
