The Qidingshan Fort is located on The Qidingshan Mountain, 153.5 meters above sea level. It was built in 1890 and cooperated with the North and South Forts to block the north and south entrances of Weihai Bay. The barracks, bunkers and ammunition depots are located at the bottom of the south side of the fort, built against the cliff and very hidden. The fort was destroyed in the Sino-Japanese War, and only a few ruins remain.

In 1988, the Qidingshan Fort Ruins was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relic protection unit and is one of the important cultural relic sites of the "Liugong Island Sino-Japanese War Memorial Site".
